On-Chain Casinos 2026: what really settles on the chain
By Elias Varga
An on-chain casino uses smart contracts. Players keep a balance in a contract. The casino decides outcomes using a verifiable random number generator, and pays out from a bankroll that anyone can view. None of the 10 casinos in this review do all 3 of these things, and the one that comes closest says so in its terms. What the 10 have is a spread. One has a balance that’s escrowed in a contract, one has prizes that are determined by a contract, and a sportsbook that’s paid from a pooled contract is another. And 6 have provably-fair games that players can check. This review rates the 10 casinos based on how much money and how much math is on-chain, and includes the terms or the screenshots for each claim.

On-chain casinos ranked: how much of each one is really on a chain
The score is for the on-chain part alone: where the balance sits, how outcomes are decided, whether the bankroll can be inspected, and whether the proof is a document or a badge. The overall review score is on each review page.

Just.bet
7.8On-chain score
Balance in a contract outcomes on a server, by clause 6 of its own terms
- Your balance
- An escrow contract on Arbitrum, with an emergency exit by Merkle proof if the platform is offline
- Bet outcomes
- HMAC-SHA256 over a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, computed on Just.bet's servers; the terms say outcomes are not recorded on a blockchain
- The bankroll
- A WINR Bankroll contract funded by liquidity providers, shown on a Proof of Bankroll page
- Licence
- None. Clause 1 of the terms says so, and disputes go to the courts of Costa Rica
Just.bet is the most on-chain casino of the 10 in this review, and the terms of Just.bet are the most transparent of where that stops. Funds are escrowed in a contract, and the bankroll that pays prizes is a WINR contract that’s funded by liquidity providers. The terms also state that in the case of an emergency, players can withdraw funds from the contract.
The outcomes are not on the chain, and clause 6 says it in three parts: game results are not recorded on a blockchain, are not generated by a verifiable random function, and do not carry per-bet cryptographic proofs. Instead, they use a commit-and-reveal scheme, and publish a hash of the server seed before the bet, and perform rotation after every 1,000 bets, and reveal the server seed so bets made under it can be recomputed. The terms refer to the product as hybrid and not fully decentralized.
The cost of the contract is everything else. Clause 1 states that JustBet does not hold a gaming license anywhere and that Costa Rica does not regulate gambling; Clause 4 states that ID checks are permitted prior to withdrawals and there is no defined condition for when they are permitted; 27 countries are defined as restricted. There is no third party to contact about a dispute, which is addressed in the legality guide.
- Your balance sits in an escrow contract on Arbitrum, with a Merkle-proof exit
- The bankroll is a contract with a Proof of Bankroll page
- A commit-and-reveal scheme described clause by clause
- Outcomes are decided on a server, not a chain, by clause 6
- No gaming licence anywhere, by clause 1
- Verification before withdrawals with no published trigger
Clause 1 of the terms, 8 October 2026: the contract on Arbitrum comes with no licence and no regulator, in the casino's own words. Visit Just.bet Read the Just.bet review 18+ only. Terms apply. -

Metawin
6.2On-chain score
Prize draws on a contract with Chainlink VRF on Ethereum and API3 QRNG on Base; the casino is custodial
- Your balance
- A Metawin balance the casino holds; coins swap in and swap back out for $2.50 with a $20 minimum
- Bet outcomes
- Studio games and originals on Metawin's side; nothing recorded on a chain
- What is on a chain
- The prize draws: entries are wallet transactions into a competition contract, the contract draws with a verifiable random number and transfers the prize
- Licence
- Anjouan, ALSI-202602025-FI1, valid on the validator on 8 October 2026
Metawin started as a prize draw site, and the draws are the only part that is on chain. Entries to the draws are transactions to a smart contract, paid for in gas and are irreversible. The contract draws the winner using a verifiable random number. For Ethereum draws, it uses Chainlink’s VRF and for Base draws it uses API3’s QRNG. The contract and entry list are public, and the FAQ states that Metawin does not impact the outcome of the draws.
Everything below the draws is an ordinary custodial casino. Deposits are swapped to a Metawin balance, the games are provided by 48 Studios, and the way out costs $2.50 with a $20 minimum and a 1x play-through of each deposit. The 30% Prize Funds credited to each deposit can buy draw entries, but only after the cash balance is 0.
Two on-chain limits affect the draw component of the casino. The prize draws prohibit players from Ireland (though the casino does not), and the KYC policy allows photo ID, proof of address, and source of funds (which a contract draw does not change), to be provided at the casino’s discretion.
- Draws decided by Chainlink VRF or API3 QRNG on a public contract
- Any WalletConnect wallet is the account, with nothing to fill in
- Licence valid on the Anjouan validator
- The casino balance is custodial; only the draws touch a chain
- $2.50 withdrawal fee with a $20 minimum
- Prize draws bar Irish players
The home page, 8 October 2026: the prize draws are the on-chain part; the casino under them holds a balance like any other. Visit Metawin Read the Metawin review 18+ only. Terms apply. -

Dexsport
5.6On-chain score
A sportsbook pool on contracts Dexsport says were audited; the reports are not linked
- Your balance
- A platform balance Dexsport holds, deposited from a connected wallet from about $0.10
- Bet outcomes
- Casino games from 48 outside studios; nothing settles on a chain
- What is on a chain
- The help centre says the sportsbook pays from a liquidity pool on smart contracts audited by CertiK and Pessimistic; the footer shows the badges
- Licence
- Anjouan, ALSI-202508043-FI2, in the footer with a verify seal
Dexsport claims to be a decentralized crypto casino, and its terms require a connected wallet to be used as a sign-up method, which is not required by any other casinos here. In the help center, it is mentioned that the sportsbook pays from a liquidity pool on smart contracts, and the footer has Audits by CertiK, Pessimistic, and Echelon.
The reports are not linked on the site, therefore the badges are Dexsport’s statements, and the casino side is ordinary custodial. Your deposit is a platform balance, the 7,700 games are provided by outside studios, and withdrawals are a cashier’s action with a fee set in the cashier. The deposit must be wagered twice to be cashed out.
A wallet is the main form of identity at a Dexsport account. Referring to clause 3.3.1, only the account holder is allowed to access the profile. The account must be funded with at least $0.10. Our wallet login ranking places this second of 10.
- The terms require a connected wallet; the address is the account
- Sportsbook paid from a liquidity pool, per the help centre
- About $0.10 minimum deposit from a wallet
- Audit badges without linked reports
- Casino balance custodial; studio games settle nowhere
- Withdrawal fee shown only in the cashier

BC.Game
4.4On-chain score
74 provably fair originals on a custodial balance you cannot inspect
- Your balance
- A BC.Game balance; the wallet is a login key, the balance is theirs to hold
- Bet outcomes
- 74 originals with provably fair seeds, Crash at a published 99% return; slots and live tables from outside studios
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals only: 150-plus coins, USDT on 16 networks, cheapest chain preselected
- Licence
- Anjouan, ALSI-202410011-FI1, valid on the regulator page on 6 October 2026
The bottom seven casinos share a pattern, and BC.Game is the most notable example: a player’s wallet is used for signing in, the funds are represented in casino credits, and the verifiable part is the originals shelf. Seventy-four originals use provably fair seeds, with Crash at a published 99% return, and Plinko, Limbo, Keno, Mines, Dice and the table games beside it. The over 1,000 slots and the live dealer games are hosted and operated by third parties.
Seeds, in the context of a provably fair system, allow a player to recompute the outcome of a game after the game is completed. A seed does not prove that the outcome was fair or that a player’s funds exist or a withdrawal will be honored. Clause 6.3 allows BC.Game to request for player ID and other forms of player identification at any time including before a payout and clause 6.2 outlines wallet ownership as one of the documents that BC.Game may request from a player.
Money coming in and out of the account is what the blockchain captures at BC.Game. The cashier, which is the deepest part of the website, has 150+ cryptocurrencies, USDT on 16 blockchains with Tron as the default blockchain, USDC with the Base network as the default blockchain, a 1 USDT minimum, and withdrawal fees which are shown only at the last step.
- 74 provably fair originals, Crash at a published 99% return
- 150-plus coins, 16 USDT networks, cheap chain preselected
- Licence checked valid on the Anjouan page
- The balance is custodial; nothing settles on a chain
- Identity checks allowed at any time, including before a payout
- Withdrawal fee shown only at the preview step

Bitcasino.io
4.2On-chain score
Provably fair originals with a verifier guide and a Live RTP page
- Your balance
- Bitcasino's, shown in milli-bitcoin or your chosen coin
- Bet outcomes
- Originals commit to a server seed hash with your client seed and a nonce; 9,500-plus studio games are not provably fair
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals: 13 coins, USDC on Base, USDT on four networks, MetaMask connected in the cashier
- Licence
- Anjouan, ALSI-202509076-FI2, valid on the validator on 8 October 2026
Bitcasino has been pretty fair when judging themselves. They are a custodial casino with a MetaMask button, not a Web3 casino. The originals offered are provably fair, by committing to a hash of the server seed and then combining it with the client seed and a nonce, and the site has a live RTP page showing recent returns per game and a verification guide.
The 9,500-plus studio games offered by Bitcasino are outside that system, and the balance is theirs from the first deposit shown in milli-bitcoin, or your chosen coin. The Cashier is the only part of the site that is on the blockchain. There are USDC and USDT with various networks and 0.25 USDT minimums. MetaMask is linked for Ethereum deposits, and there is a 0.875% fee.
There are no fees when withdrawing, and they are processed within minutes. By AML policy, there is a required identity verification the first time a withdrawal is made. A verified email is also required.
- Originals provably fair with a published verifier guide
- A Live RTP page of recent returns per game
- Withdrawals in minutes with no fee from Bitcasino
- Custodial balance; nothing settles on a chain
- Verification at the first withdrawal of any amount
- 0.875% MetaMask fee on the connected route

BetFury
4.1On-chain score
24 provably fair originals behind a Curaçao licence that checks out
- Your balance
- A BetFury balance until you withdraw
- Bet outcomes
- 24 originals with a published seed check; 11,000-plus slots and live tables from outside studios
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals: 41 coins on 18 networks, 0.1 USDT minimum on Polygon
- Licence
- Curaçao, OGL/2024/1494/0942, active on the regulator's page on 8 October 2026
Betfury has 6 wallet buttons at the front and nothing on a blockchain behind it. There is a wallet sign in to open an account and deposit, which holds the funds until withdrawal. The 11,000 slots and live tables offered by Betfury are from external game studios. The 24 originals offered by Betfury have a published seed, which is verifiable.
The license is the important document here, and it is one of the better ones on the list. Curaçao, OGL/2024/1494/0942, is active on the regulator’s site, with a certificate of operation for Universe B Games B.V. Clause 17.2 states that a request for documentation can be made at any time and must be provided within 30 days. A request for an anti-fraud check may extend the withdrawal period by seven days.
The cashier accepts 18 networks with a 0.1 USDT minimum on Polygon and 3 USDT on Ethereum. The welcome pack is the thing to read before any of this: a 590% bonus with a payout capped at 1.2 times the bonus.
- Curaçao licence active on the regulator's page
- 24 provably fair originals with a published seed check
- 0.1 USDT minimum on Polygon
- Custodial balance; nothing settles on a chain
- Bonus payout capped at 1.2x the bonus
- Anti-fraud hold of up to seven days

Solcasino
4.0On-chain score
Solana payouts, custodial balance with the wallet named as the login in the terms
- Your balance
- A member account in Solcasino's books until a withdrawal
- Bet outcomes
- Originals provably fair with a hashed server seed; slots, live and sports from outside providers
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals: 47 tokens, Solana payouts after one confirmation, no fee back to a Web3 wallet
- Licence
- Tobique Gaming Commission, valid on the validator on 8 October 2026
Solcasino's wallet is the login by clause 3.1.3 of the terms, and the deposit leaves it for Solcasino's books the moment it lands. The originals are provably fair in the usual way, a hashed server seed shown before the bet, your client seed and a nonce; the slots, live tables, sports and the 1000x futures desk are outside that scheme.
The chain shows up on the way out rather than the way in. A withdrawal to a Web3 wallet carries no fee, and payouts in Solana are processed after one confirmation. The terms and conditions set a target of one hour with a 10 minute average, and a $10,000 limit per token per day.
Clause 3.2.6 allows Sumsub identity checks when processing deposits. Clause 3.3.5 allows the payments team to check documents, so the wallet login buys no exemption. Tobique’s license validates on the regulator’s page, which tells more than a contract address can.
- No fee back to a Web3 wallet; Solana payouts after one confirmation
- The terms name the wallet as the login
- Tobique licence valid on the regulator's validator
- Custodial balance; nothing settles on a chain
- $10,000 per token per day withdrawal limit
- Sumsub checks at deposit or withdrawal, at discretion

Roobet
3.8On-chain score
Instant withdrawals from a balance Roobet holds, after a name-and-address form
- Your balance
- Roobet's; the MetaMask signature opens an account, the form before the first deposit asks for your name and address
- Bet outcomes
- 14 originals provably fair; over 7,000 studio games are not
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals: 11 coins, ETH on Ethereum, Base or Arbitrum, every withdrawal sent the moment it is requested
- Licence
- Curaçao, OGL/2024/687/0427, active on the regulator's page on 6 October 2026
Roobet’s chain carries the withdrawal. The help center says every withdrawal is sent the moment it is requested, with the only thing to wait for being the confirmations of the network, and there’s no casino fee; the condition in front of it is that every deposit is wagered at least once. Provably Fair applies to the 14 originals, and the 7,000 plus slots that Roobet offers are studio releases.
The balance is Roobet’s, and the account behind the MetaMask signature asks for more than most: first, last name, date of birth, country and address, prior to the first deposit, and documents prior to large withdrawals, under clause 4.9. The 25 countries mentioned are the UK, US, Australia and the Netherlands among others.
The cashier's connect-to-deposit button, added in July 2025, sends from a connected wallet without a pasted address, and the licence is a Curaçao one with a certificate of operation naming Raw Entertainment B.V.
- Every withdrawal sent at once with no casino fee
- ETH accepted on Ethereum, Base or Arbitrum
- Curaçao licence active on the regulator's page
- Custodial balance; nothing settles on a chain
- Name, birth date and address before the first deposit
- Every deposit must be wagered once before any withdrawal

Rollbit
3.5On-chain score
Nothing on a chain beyond the deposit, the withdrawal and the NFT vault
- Your balance
- A Rollbit cashier balance; the wallet is linked by one signed message
- Bet outcomes
- Slots, live, X-Roulette, X-Crash and a futures desk on Rollbit's side; no published seed scheme recorded in our review
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals with no fee beyond gas, $5 minimums; NFT deposits signed with the same wallet
- Licence
- Anjouan, ALSI-042308006-FII, valid on the validator on 8 October 2026
Reusing a signed message allows Rollbit to link a wallet to an account, and to a NFT deposit. That is the full extent of the chain’s involvement. The balance is Rollbit’s, the games are on Rollbit’s side, and the 1000x Futures desk that runs outside the gaming license is on the same balance.
Fees are low. No fee beyond gas on deposits or withdrawals. Minimums are $5 in stablecoins and 0.002 ETH. A cash-out requires a $10 deposit and a $10 wager. Withdrawal times are not listed. The AML policy describes a five-level verification that can be requested level by level.
The terms and conditions require your full name, date of birth, address, email and phone, with accuracy, and count a linked wallet in the one-account rule with the person, household, device and IP address. Twenty-nine countries are named as restricted, most of the EU among them.
- No fee on deposits or withdrawals beyond gas
- $10 deposited and $10 wagered is the whole cash-out condition
- Licence valid on the Anjouan validator
- Nothing settles on a chain
- Five-level verification, requestable level by level
- 1000x futures desk outside the gaming licence

Fairspin
3.2On-chain score
The chain is gone from a site whose name once meant bets logged on one
- Your balance
- A Fairspin balance in dollars, euros or milli-bitcoin, not in the coin you sent
- Bet outcomes
- Games from 82 studios on their own servers
- What is on a chain
- Deposits and withdrawals only: 45-plus coins, 1,000 USDT a day out, no fee from Fairspin
- Licence
- Anjouan, ALSI-202508047-FI2, valid on the validator on 8 October 2026
Fairspin was originally a casino where you can log your bets to a public blockchain. In 2026, the site is blockchain-less and all that remains is a rakeback token called TFS, and a 10-tier loyalty program and store. Read it as a loyalty program, because that is what it is; nothing about a bet can be verified outside the casino.
Fairspin keeps your balance in USD or EUR and in milli-BTC rather than the coin you deposited, and caps withdrawals at 1,000 USDT a day, 5,000 a week, and 20,000 a month. Fairspin charges no fees.
13.2 names 67 restricted countries, Ireland and 24 EU states among them, and the welcome offer is still shown to Irish users. The 82 studios, with Pragmatic Play alone at 1,029 titles, are the reason Fairspin is on this site at all.
- No fee from Fairspin on deposits or withdrawals
- 82 studios, the longest provider list of the ten
- Licence valid on the Anjouan validator
- Nothing settles on a chain; the former bet log is gone
- 1,000 USDT a day withdrawal cap
- 67 restricted countries including Ireland, served anyway

The three layers an on-chain casino would put on a chain
- 1casino with the balance in a contract
- 1with contract-drawn prizes
- 0with casino outcomes on a chain
A casino can be on a chain in three places, and a slogan usually means one of them at most. The table reads the ten against each layer.
| Layer | What fully on-chain looks like | Who does it here | What the rest do |
|---|---|---|---|
| The balance | Your deposit sits in a contract you can read on a block explorer, and an exit exists that does not need the casino's consent | Just.bet: escrow contract on Arbitrum, Merkle-proof emergency exit | A balance in the casino's books from the first confirmation; a withdrawal is a request the casino fulfils |
| The outcome | A verifiable random number the contract records with the bet, so the result and its proof are public | Nobody, for casino games. Metawin's prize draws use Chainlink VRF and API3 QRNG | Studio games on the studio's servers; originals with a commit-and-reveal seed at six casinos; Just.bet's HMAC-SHA256 scheme, outcomes off-chain by clause 6 |
| The bankroll | A contract funded by liquidity providers, with a balance anyone can inspect and a payout that cannot be refused | Just.bet: WINR Bankroll contract with a Proof of Bankroll page; Dexsport's sportsbook pool, by its own account | The company's own funds, visible only as a licence record and a withdrawal that arrives or does not |
Read against each casino's terms and help centre, 6 to 8 October 2026
The guide on on-chain vs custodial covers the first layer with the screens, and provably fair on-chain covers the second. A wallet login is none of the three: it decides how you get in, not where the money goes, and the wallet login ranking scores it separately.
Provably fair at six casinos: what the seed proves and what it does not
- 6 of 10run provably fair originals
- 1,000bets before Just.bet rotates the seed on its own
- 99%published return on BC.Game's Crash
Six of the ten run a seed scheme on their originals: BC.Game, Bitcasino, BetFury, Solcasino, Roobet and Just.bet. The scheme is the same at each, and worth understanding once.
What it proves. Before you bet, the casino publishes a hash of a server seed. Each bet combines that seed, a client seed that you set and a nonce that counts up. When the seed is rotated, Just.bet after 1,000 bets, the old seed is revealed and every bet under it can be recomputed from the three inputs. If the recomputed result matches what you were paid, the casino did not alter the outcome after you bet. BC.Game publishes a 99% return on Crash under this scheme; Bitcasino adds a verifier guide and a Live RTP page.
What it does not prove. That the server seed was picked fairly, that only a verifiable random function on a contract would show. That the bankroll exists. That the withdrawal will be processed, or processed prior to a document request. Anything about the slots and live tables, which at all six casinos, come from external studios and are situated outside of the scheme. A provably fair badge on a custodial casino is a real but narrow promise and the rest is on the casino.
The practical use: play the originals if and when you want a result that you can verify, and read the withdrawal terms with the same level of care as you would with any casino, because the seed scheme has nothing to say about them. Our withdrawal guide covers the checks in the order they come.
Checking an on-chain claim yourself, in five steps
A casino on a chain can show you; one that is not will show you a badge. The five steps separate the two in ten minutes with no tools beyond a block explorer.
- Find the contract address on the site. Just.bet's Proof of Bankroll page and Metawin's competition pages name theirs. A site that talks about contracts and never prints an address has given you nothing to check.
- Open it on the chain's explorer. Arbiscan for Arbitrum, Etherscan for Ethereum, Basescan for Base. The page shows the balance, the transactions and whether the code is verified. An unverified contract is a black box with a balance.
- Find your own deposit. At Just.bet the USDC transfer from your wallet should appear as a transaction into the escrow contract. At a custodial casino the deposit goes to an address the casino controls, and nothing ties it to you afterwards.
- Read the audit, not the badge. Dexsport's footer names CertiK and Pessimistic without linking a report. An audit counts when the report is public, dated, and names the address you found in step one.
- Read the fairness clause for the word hybrid. Just.bet's clause 6 says outcomes are not recorded on a blockchain. A casino that states its own limit is telling you more than one that does not mention them.
Gas is the only expense in this. Reading a block explorer is free. Making a deposit into a contract on Arbitrum or Base will cost you a few cents and the same on the Ethereum mainnet will cost you a few dollars. The gas fees guide breaks it down per chain. The Ethereum casinos ranking lists which of the ten take which network.
What a contract protects you from, and what it does not
A balance in a contract removes the risk that the casino spends your deposit, and other risks remain. These are the five that reach a player at the casinos on this page.
Contract risk. A contract can have a bug or an owner key that moves funds, and an unaudited one has nobody vouching for either. Just.bet's escrow contract is on Arbitrum where it can be read; whether it has been audited is not stated on the site.
The exit that needs the casino. At nine of the ten, a withdrawal is a request the casino fulfils, and every one keeps a verification clause it can invoke first. Just.bet's Merkle-proof exit is the single route here that does not.
No adjudicator. Just.bet holds no licence by its own clause 1, so a refused withdrawal has nowhere to go but the courts of Costa Rica. The licensed nine at least have a regulator record, which the legality guide weighs.
The outcome you cannot see. Studio games settle on the studio's servers at all ten. A contract balance and a Pragmatic Play slot together give you a verifiable deposit and an unverifiable spin.
The rug. The casino that disappears with the deposits is the case against custodial balances, and the on-chain label has been used to pull one: ZKasino, April 2024, about 10,500 ETH moved to a staking contract instead of returned. The rug pulls guide has the pattern.
The sum of the five: fund per session, withdraw when you stop, and treat the on-chain part as a reason to look rather than a reason to trust. With the burner wallet, the first two of these habits become automatic.
What the on-chain parts give you, and what they leave in place
What the chain gives you
- A balance in a contract can be read, and left, without the casino's consent at Just.bet
- A bankroll contract shows whether the money to pay you exists before you bet
- A contract-drawn prize at Metawin has a public random number and a public entry list
- Provably fair originals at six casinos let you recompute a result after the seed is revealed
- Terms that state their own limits, Just.bet's clause 6 above all, are easier to hold a casino to
What it leaves in place
- No casino here decides casino-game outcomes on a chain; studio games never are
- The casino nearest to on-chain holds no licence and names no company address
- Nine of ten balances are custodial, with a withdrawal the casino fulfils after any check it chooses
- Audit badges without reports at Dexsport, and no audit stated at Just.bet
- Gas on every deposit and exit, and an Irish exclusion on the one contract-drawn prize
Choose Just.bet only if a contract balance outweighs the absence of a license, Metawin for the draws and not the casino, and one of the licensed custodial seven for the rest, by the cashier and the license on the main ranking. The glossary defines every term this page leans on.
How we ranked the on-chain casinos
Where the balance sits
A balance in a contract, which can be viewed on a block explorer, outranks a balance in the casino's books, regardless of how the login looks.
How outcomes are decided
A verifiable random number on a contract outranks a commit-and-reveal seed scheme, which outranks a studio game with no check at all.
Whether the bankroll can be inspected
A bankroll contract with a public page scores; a casino that says it is solvent does not.
Document or badge
A linked audit report that names the contract outranks a footer badge, which is recorded as the casino's claim.
What the terms admit
Just.bet's clause 6 and Dexsport's help center say where the chain stops. A casino that marks its own limits outranks one that lets a slogan do the talking.
What the chain costs you
No licence and no adjudicator at Just.bet; Irish exclusion on Metawin's draws. The card says what the on-chain part takes away.
The on-chain score is this page's own number and sits far from the review score for most of the ten: Just.bet reviews last on the site and leads here, and BetFury reviews third, sitting in the sixth spot. None of the ten reach tier 1 on this site's scale, and the page will say so until one deserves it. Each casino is re-checked monthly.
On-chain casino questions people ask
What is an on-chain casino?
One where the money and the maths are on a blockchain: your balance is in a contract instead of a company wallet, outcomes are produced by verifiable random numbers that a contract records, and a bankroll that is inspectable by all. Our scale calls that tier 1. None of the ten casinos on this site reach it; Just.bet has the balance and the bankroll on Arbitrum but decides outcomes on its servers, by its own clause 6.
Is any casino here fully on-chain?
No, and the page says so first. Just.bet's terms say the platform is hybrid, partly on-chain and partly off-chain. Metawin's prize draws are run on a contract and its casino is not. Dexsport says its sportsbook pays from a pool on audited contracts, and its casino balance is custodial. The other seven are also custodial casinos with a wallet login.
Is provably fair the same as on-chain?
No. “Provably fair” is a seed scheme: The casino publishes a hash of a server seed before you bet, combines it with your client seed and a nonce, then reveals the seed later, allowing you to verify the outcome. While the seed proves the house didn’t change the outcome after your bet, it doesn’t guarantee payment of a withdrawal, nor does it put outcome determination on a chain. Six casinos here run their originals with it.
Do blockchain casinos run all their games on the blockchain?
None of these ten does. Slots and live tables from Pragmatic Play, Evolution and the rest are run on studio servers, and are the same at every casino on this page. The balance, a bankroll, prize draw, or sportsbook pool are some examples of things that can be put on a chain. The game itself is usually not put on a chain.
Do on-chain casinos need KYC?
A contract won't ask for docs, but the company can. Just.bet's clause 4 allows for ID checks before withdrawals. Metawin's KYC policy allows for photo ID, proof of address, and source of funds at their discretion. And Dexsport performs checks on a suspicion of fraud. Every casino on this page has a verification clause. The contract changes where the money is sitting, not what the terms allow.
Can I check the bankroll myself?
Yes at Just.bet: the WINR Bankroll contract has a Proof of Bankroll page and is situated on Arbitrum where a block explorer shows its balance. At Metawin, the competition contracts and entry lists are public for the draws. For the other eight, the bankroll is a company’s books, and the licence record is the only thing you can check.
What does GambleFi mean?
A label for gambling platforms built on DeFi’s parts: a bankroll funded by liquidity providers who earn from the house edge, bets settled by contracts, and a token that represents rewards. Just.bet’s WINR bankroll is the only example of this among the ten. This label is used loosely, and a casino that has a token and a custodial balance is not really a GambleFi case.
What happened at ZKasino?
In April 2024, a platform that sold itself as an on-chain casino took about 10,500 ETH from players under a bridge promotion, moved it to a staking contract instead of returning it, and Dutch authorities arrested a suspect. The case represents the criteria for this page: a contract you cannot read, and a team you cannot name, is not on-chain in any way that protects you. The complete case is in our Rug Pulls Guide.
