Elias Varga: the editor behind every CryptoReel page
Elias Varga is Hungarian and lives in Lisbon. He writes and edits CryptoReel from there. He came to casinos from the wallet side, and has asked every casino what a wallet user asks: what am I signing, and where does the money go after it leaves? All reviews on the site are by him; all wallet guides are constructed from wallet manufacturer’s own pages. He offers no opinion on the law of any reader’s country.
- 10casino reviews
- 24guides, each from the maker's or the network's own documentation
- 1language rule: plain words
Who he is
Hungarian, in Lisbon. Elias is from Hungary and lives in Lisbon where CryptoReel is written. Since Hungarian is his first language, site codes are in Hungarian; English is the language he publishes in, and he keeps it simple. A sign-in means signing a message; an approval means allowing a contract to spend a token; gas means the network fee.
From the wallet side. He has not come from a background in casino marketing. He has self-custody wallets, reads what each prompt means, cancels the approvals he shouldn't have given, and pays gas on chains that charge differently. To him, a casino is just another site that requests a signature. The review asks what the signature does and where the deposit goes.
One person, one method. There is no team behind the name. How we review is the method written down so a reader can hold him to it.
How he works, page by page
- The login screen first. Which wallets the login shows, what is signed, and whether a form follows, with the screenshot on the page beside the claim.
- The terms, clause by clause. Restricted countries, verification, withdrawals, bonus. He quotes the clause number so you can find it, and where the FAQ and the terms disagree he gives both and says which applies.
- The licence, then the register. The licence line copied from the casino's site, the operator named, the register checked with the date. If the casino states none, he quotes the clause that says so; if it states nothing, he writes NOT DISCLOSED.
- The wallet maker's own pages. A wallet guide is built from the maker's documentation, store listing and support centre, never from another site's summary. Where a maker does not state something, the guide says so.
- The network's own documentation. Gas, fees and chain facts come from ethereum.org, solana.com, the Arbitrum, OP Stack, Tron and TON docs, with the page named. One live reading is dated so it can be checked against the block.
- A score last, and a verdict that matches. The approve-and-reject lists name what moved the score. He re-checks every casino monthly and records a closure as a dated fact with its source.
What he refuses to do
He does
- Open every login screen himself, from a stated exit, on a stated date
- Quote clauses and licence lines verbatim, with their numbers
- Say when no fairness page, no fee, no time or no country list was published
- Recommend a separate gambling wallet, funded per session, on every page where a wallet is connected
- Report a closure as a dated fact with its source, and remove the casino within the month
He does not
- Deposit, bet or withdraw with a research account, or describe a payout he did not receive
- Write that a casino is legal, or that a licence is valid where you live
- Tell a reader to approve an unlimited allowance, or how to get round a block or a verification clause
- Build a wallet guide from another site's summary instead of the maker's own pages
- Give tax advice beyond one line, or legal advice at all
Write to him
One email address, post@cryptoreel.net, read by Elias. A correction that names the page, quotes the figure and points at the clause or screen it should be matched against, gets filed. It is checked against the casino's website. It gets a new date stamped. The contact page lists what the email address can and cannot do. It cannot open an account or release a withdrawal and it cannot make a decision in a dispute with a casino.
