Burner Wallet for Gambling: set it up, fund it per session

Elias Varga, CryptoReel editor By Elias Varga

A burner wallet for gambling is a wallet containing only what you would take to a casino in an evening: your cash for the outing, and nothing else. Ledger's glossary defines a burner as a temporary or single-use account used to protect assets and privacy for a specific transaction. For this case, the specific transaction is a casino login. This guide sets one up, in a wallet you already have, or a new one, funds it for the outing, keeps track of how much it cost to top up, and states what it does not do: it will not make you anonymous, and it will not alter the casino’s rules.

What a burner wallet is, and why a casino is the case for one

Ledger's definition

Ledger Academy glossary, dated 18 February 2025: a burner wallet is a temporary or single-use cryptocurrency account used to protect one’s assets and privacy for a specific transaction. Users create disposable wallets for specific transactions, like interacting with a new site. A casino login is that transaction.

What the casino sees

In the eyes of the casino, a connected wallet shows the address and what’s on it, in MetaMask’s words: the funds you hold. A burner wallet makes that a small number. A sign-in message moves nothing, and a deposit moves only what you type, but the balance the site can read is the balance of the signing wallet.

What a bad prompt can reach

A token approval is valid for only the wallet that signed it, and the same is true for a phishing signature. The token approvals guide covers the token approval flow. This page covers the wallet that limits it.

Setting one up: a second account, or a second phrase

  • 12 wordsa new phrase, if you make one
  • 1account the casino ever sees
  • 0savings in reach of a bad prompt
  1. Pick the wallet the casinos take. MetaMask signs into all ten reviewed casinos; Phantom into the three Solana doors; a phone wallet by QR into five. The wallet hub matches the chain you hold to a wallet.
  2. Add an account, or install fresh. MetaMask adds accounts under one Secret Recovery Phrase from the account menu, each with its own address; Phantom and the others do the same. One phrase restores all of them, so a wallet with its own phrase, on its own browser profile, is the cleaner cut. Either way, the casino is connected to the burner only.
  3. Write the phrase, if it is new, on paper. Twelve words for MetaMask and Phantom by their own set-up guides, written once, kept offline, typed into nothing. A burner's phrase is still a phrase.
  4. Fund it per session, on the casino's chain. From the exchange to the burner's address, in the coin the cashier lists, on the network it names, plus a little of the chain's own coin for fees: ETH on Ethereum and its layer twos, SOL on Solana, BNB on BNB Chain.
  5. Sign in with the burner, and only the burner. The connect prompt names the account; make it this one. After the session, withdraw to the burner, then move the result to the main wallet. The burner starts the next session empty but for fees.

What funding it per session costs

Two transfers per session. One in and one out from the main wallet, each with a chain fee, on the Ethereum mainnet, a simple transfer costs 21,000 gas (estimated) according to Ethereum.org. Prices fluctuate based on market conditions. On Arbitrum, Base and other Layer 2's, the same transfer costs a fraction of that. On Solana the same costs 5,000 lamports per sig. Gas fees at crypto casinos show the equivalent per chain.

Plus the casino's own moves. A deposit from a burner is a third transaction, and a withdrawal back is the casino's transfer, with whatever cashier fee the house states. According to reviews, Roobet, Rollbit and Fairspin charge no fee. At Metawin it's a flat fee of $2.50, set per coin at BetFury. BC.Game states a cashier's fee in the preview step. Each withdrawal is in the withdrawal guide.

And the dust. Burners that go to zero every session cannot pay the first fee next session. Leave a few dollars of ETH on a Layer 2, a fraction of a SOL or BNB. That is the one balance a burner should carry between sessions.

The casino rules a burner has to live with

CasinoThe clauseWhat it means for a burner
DexsportClause 3.1.2 requires a connected wallet at sign-upThe burner is the account; a different wallet is a different sign-up
BetFuryClause 5.12 allows one account per walletOne burner per casino account, kept for every session
MetawinClause 4.0: one account per wallet addressA new address is a new account, which the clause does not allow twice
Just.betClause 4 keeps the one-account rule and asks for accurate informationThe same wallet, every time
Roobet, Bitcasino.io, Rollbit, FairspinA form after the signature: name and address, a register form, an email and password, a phone numberThe burner signs in; the account is the casino's, with its own details
BC.Game, SolcasinoNothing after the signature, or a usernameThe burner is the account; an email can be added at BC.Game and cannot be changed once set
Metawin login dialog with an email field, a Log in button and Google and Web3 Wallet buttons under Or continue with
The login dialog, 8 October 2026: email, Log in, and Google or Web3 Wallet under "Or continue with".

The lesson from the table is the shape of the thing: one burner, used at every casino, funded per session. Rotating addresses per session at the same casino is a second account, not privacy, and the no-registration ranking quotes the verification clause every casino keeps regardless.

What a burner wallet cannot do

It does not make you anonymous. The exchange that funded it knows the address, the chain shows every transfer, and the casino's verification clause applies to the account whatever wallet signed in.

It does not change where the deposit sits. Once it lands it is the casino's balance, and the licence and country clauses on the review decide the rest.

It does not protect a phrase. A burner under the main wallet's phrase falls with it; a burner with its own phrase is only as safe as that paper.

On-chain vs. custodial cover the first two, and the MetaMask guide the third.

Burner wallet questions players ask

What is a burner wallet?

A crypto burner wallet, or disposable wallet, is a temporary cryptocurrency account users create to perform specific transactions, such as interacting with a new site. For gambling, it is the wallet that signs into casinos and holds a session’s money, kept away from the wallet that holds the money for other interactions.

Why would I need one for a casino?

There are three reasons, each on their own page here. A wallet connected to a casino shows the casino its whole balance, so a small wallet shows a small number. A token approval or a phishing signature can only reach what the signing wallet holds. And on-chain transactions are public, so a separate wallet keeps that record apart from your funds. None of these needs a casino to misbehave; they are true of a well-run casino.

Do I need a different burner for each casino?

No. At four of the casinos (including Dexsport) a second connected wallet would be a second account, and their terms limit you to one account per wallet or per user. One funded burner wallet, used for every casino, is the allowed shape.

Is a burner wallet anonymous?

No. Each time a transaction is made, the blockchain records that transaction forever. The exchange you fund it from knows the address, and the casino's verification clause applies to the account whatever wallet signed in. A burner wallet helps cover your other holdings.

How much should I keep in it?

What you can lose, plus the chain’s own coin to cover the fee. The cashier minimums set the floor. Dexsport takes 0.10 USD from a connected wallet. BC.Game and Betfury accept stablecoins from 1.00. Rollbit takes 0.002 ETH. Just.bet takes USDC on Arbitrum. The ceiling is yours. Winnings go to your main wallet, not the burner.

Can a second MetaMask account be a burner?

Yes. The MetaMask Help Center has info on adding multiple accounts with the same Secret Recovery Phrase. Each account has a unique address and balance. Accounts are separate, so a casino linked to account 2 has no knowledge of account 1. The trade-off is that if a Secret Recovery Phrase is exposed, both accounts are compromised. Each account is totally isolated with a new MetaMask installation, using a new browser profile.

Can the FBI track crypto?

A public chain is readable by everyone, including investigators, and exchanges keep a record of the accounts they service. For this reason, this site writes no-KYC only as a casino’s published policy, and gives no instruction on how to hide from investigators. A burner is to limit exposure to a casino and bad signature, not to evade a record the chain keeps for all users.

How do I empty it after a session?

Withdraw the casino balance to the burner's address on a network the cashier pays on, then send the burner's balance to the main wallet or the exchange, leaving a little of the chain's coin for next time's fee. Each move is a transaction with its own gas; the withdrawal guide covers the casino step and gas fees at crypto casinos the cost.
