MetaMask Casino Guide 2026: from install to first sign-in

Most of the Web3 casinos reviewed here assume you’re using MetaMask. Eight of the ten feature the MetaMask button on their login screens, and the remaining two list it first in their wallet select screens. This guide covers the MetaMask wallet, from the initial setup to the sign-in process, and details the phone connection, what Ledger changes, and the networks the cashiers credit.

What MetaMask is at a casino

A key, not an account

As MetaMask states, you hold the master key to your wallet and there is no middleman, so MetaMask can’t access your Secret Recovery Phrase and can’t help you get your funds back if you lose it. A casino login uses that key for one signature.

One address on every EVM network

The Multi-chain accounts, introduced in Extension 13.5 for PC and 7.57 for Mobile (2025), integrate a single EVM address to work across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base and other EVM networks, and separate addresses for Solana and Bitcoin, all generated from the same 12 words.

A login button at eight casinos

Dexsport, BC.Game, BetFury, Roobet, Bitcasino.io, Solcasino, Rollbit, and Fairspin feature the fox on their sign in screens; MetaWin and Just.bet list it first in their wallet select screens. What follows the signature varies from nothing to a fully completed form, and the FAQ lists it casino by casino.

Install from metamask.io. The extension is listed for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Brave, and the app for iOS and Android. MetaMask keeps a page on recognising the real MetaMask; a search ad is never the way in.
Write down the 12 words. The Secret Recovery Phrase is, in MetaMask's words, a unique 12-word phrase that is the master key to your wallet: whoever controls it controls the wallet. The password only unlocks the app on that device and does not recover anything.
Add an account for play. One phrase carries many accounts. Add one, name it, and connect only that one to casinos; the site sees the address you connect and nothing else.
Pick the network before you fund it. MetaMask shows every enabled network in one view by default, so the balance you see is not tied to one chain. The cashier names its chain; coins sent from one chain to another, MetaMask warns, will most likely result in permanent and irreversible asset loss.
Fund it from the exchange. Withdraw from the exchange to the account's address on the network the cashier lists, in the coin it lists, and only the evening's money. MetaMask's help centre has a page on transfers from a centralised exchange.
Open the casino's login and press MetaMask. A connect prompt, then a sign-in message. The next sections read both.

Cashiers add and drop networks without notice.

MetaMask can connect to Ethereum, Linea, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum and OP, and turn on additional networks with one click. Everything else requires custom configuration: network name, RPC, chain ID, currency symbol and block explorer, all five from the chain’s own documentation.

POL is the native coin of Polygon, and BNB is the native coin of BNB Chain. You will need POL to pay gas fees on Polygon and BNB to pay gas fees on BNB Chain. According to MetaMask’s guide, a balance of USDT on Polygon with no POL will not move. Gas fees at crypto casinos list the cost of a deposit for each.

Solana is native since 2025. MetaMask creates a Solana address per account with the same seed phrase and Solana sites may hide MetaMask behind a “View More Wallets” button. Ledger-based Solana accounts are not supported, therefore a Solana casino with a hardware wallet means Phantom.

Connect, then sign: the two prompts at every login

1. The connect prompt

It shows the account the site is asking for. Editing accounts narrows the list. The Permissions tab shows the accounts and enabled networks the site will see. According to MetaMask, the site will see the address of the account and may suggest transactions, however, that does not mean the site can send your tokens, for that, it would need a token approval.

2. The sign-in message

A text the wallet signs with your key. MetaMask recommends this method for authentication. It provides the name of the site and includes a one-time value, therefore, it cannot be replayed. No gas, no transaction: at all ten reviewed casinos this is the whole login.

3. What never belongs at login

Both a token approval and a transaction alter what a site can do with your coins and are not needed to confirm your identity. A login step is asking for something that a login doesn't need. Close the tab.

After the session, the menu's All Permissions entry lists every connected site. Manage permissions, then Edit, removes an account or a network from a site; a site with no accounts left is disconnected.

The site name in the signature request must match the address bar, and the prompt must follow a click of yours: in MetaMask's words, it will never pop up without you initiating a transaction.

MetaMask Mobile carries a browser of its own (the Explore tab, or via the browser icon/search bar). There, a casino connects with the Connect button, like in the extension. MetaMask is blunt about alternative options: other browsers will probably not allow you to connect to dApps using MetaMask, so use the browser provided. Safari and Chrome on your phone do not display the wallet.

A QR code is the other option. BC.Game, Dexsport, Solcasino, Metawin and Just.bet all provide a WalletConnect option in their logins. Open the casino in a browser, choose WalletConnect, scan the QR code with MetaMask, and the sign-in message appears on your phone. The WalletConnect ranking scores these 5 casinos.

MetaMask only is shown by Roobet, Rollbit and Fairspin. On a phone, this makes the app's browser the only way in, since no QR is provided and the phone browser can not reach the wallet.

Pairing a Ledger or Trezor

The pairing lives in the extension: to add your Ledger to MetaMask, make sure your Ledger is connected, go to your account menu in MetaMask and select add account or hardware wallet, then add hardware wallet, and select Ledger or Trezor, from there it will bring up a pop-up to select your ledger device and click connect. From there your Ledger must be connected for every signature, logins included. MetaMask's hardware wallet guide lists the set of devices that it supports.

When it does not connect, and what to keep an eye on

Switch other wallet extensions off, then reload: MetaMask names more than one active wallet client as the most common reason a site cannot connect
Unlock the wallet before pressing the button, and set the site's network to the one the cashier uses (the connected-site icon, then the active network)
Open All Permissions after a session and remove casinos you no longer use
Read the address bar before every connect and every signature

Type the 12 words into a website, a form or a support chat: MetaMask will never ask you to verify your account
Sign a token approval or a transaction at a casino's login step
Send coins to a cashier address on a network the cashier did not name
Install from a search ad or a link in a message

A compromised wallet is not recoverable: MetaMask’s help center says anyone who knows the wallet recovery phrase can take the funds from your accounts. Move what’s left to a new wallet, and treat the old one as lost. The burner wallet guide is the reason a casino account should be a small one.

How do you connect your MetaMask to a casino?

To log in to your casino account, open the casino's login page, and click the MetaMask button, the extension will ask you for permission, and give you a list of which accounts and networks the site will be able to see, select the accounts you wish to use, and click connect, lastly you will be prompted to sign in, the sign in is free and nothing will be sent from your wallet.

I can't connect my MetaMask wallet. What can I do?

MetaMask's help center says the most common reason is having multiple wallet extensions turned on. Go to your browser's extensions page (chrome://extensions, brave://extensions, about:addons or edge://extensions), disable the other wallets, and reload the casino. Next, unlock MetaMask and make sure the site’s network matches the cashier’s.

Is MetaMask a hot or cold wallet?

Hot. It's a piece of software on a connected device and your key is only as secure as that device and your 12 words. Pairing a Ledger or Trezor turns the signing cold: the key stays on the device, and you approve every single message and transaction on its screen. The Ledger section covers pairing.

How do I pull my money out of MetaMask?

Send it to an exchange account's deposit address on the same network, and then sell it. Withdraw from the casino on a network the cashier pays on, wait for the confirmations, then proceed to do the next step. The withdrawal guide walks through the casino step.

Is MetaMask a legitimate wallet?

It has been running since 2016, has 100 million downloads across the Chrome Web Store, Google Play and App Store, according to their numbers, and is a product of MetaMask, which was Consensys Software Inc. until their 2026 split. It is self-custodial, meaning it can’t access your recovery phrase or recover your wallet, and never asks you to verify your account through email.

Can government track MetaMask?

All transactions made by an address are public on the blockchain and can be viewed by anyone using a block explorer. MetaMask does not keep any records or accounts tied to your name, but the default networks that MetaMask uses are powered by Infura and, according to MetaMask, Infura does not serve all countries. Winnings can be considered taxable in your country and MetaMask's Help Center has a Tax Hub because of this.

Does a casino still ask for an email when I sign in with MetaMask?

It varies from casino to casino. DEXSport, BC.Game, BetFury, Metawin and Just.Bet do not require anything after the signature. Bitcasino.io requires an email and phone number. Roobet requires a name, DOB and address. Fairspin's FAQ requires a phone number and DOB. Rollbit's help center explains social sign-ups and asks users to create an email and a password. Does MetaMask hold my casino balance?

No. Depositing funds to a casino from MetaMask is a transfer of funds from your MetaMask wallet to the casino's wallet address and from that point on, the funds are considered the casino's funds. MetaMask only has funds that have not been transferred to other wallets.
